We are proud to share that Dr. Sadhana Puntambekar, Professor in the Department of Educational Psychology, has been named a 2025 Fellow of the American Educational Research Association (AERA). This prestigious honor recognizes her outstanding contributions to education research and her sustained impact on the field.

The AERA Fellows Program celebrates scholars who have made exceptional contributions through research, theory, and service. Dr. Puntambekar is one of only 29 scholars selected nationwide for the 2025 cohort. Fellows are nominated by their peers, reviewed by the AERA Fellows Committee, and approved by the association’s elected governing body, the AERA Council.

Dr. Puntambekar’s research focuses on technology-enhanced learning, collaborative learning, and the design of learning environments that foster deep understanding and student engagement. Her work has been widely published and cited, influencing both academic discourse and educational practice.
